Abla Farhoud

Born in northern Lebanon, Abla Farhoud came to Québec at the age of six. A noted playwright, she has had her works read and staged in Québec, in the United States, in France, in Belgium and in Lebanon. Dramaturge lue et jouée au Québec, aux États-Unis, en France, en Belgique et au Liban, Abla Farhoud a reçu en 1993 le prix Arletty de l'Université de la langue française et le prix Théâtre et Liberté de la Société des auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques de France. En 2005, elle a fait paraître son troisième roman, Le fou d'Omar, chez VLB éditeur.
